Hey guys! School is just around the corner for everyone..I'm sure everyone is dreading it, at least there's one good thing about the new school year, a fresh clean slate for FFA. The summer has been awesome for Section 10. Follwing all of the awesome awards section members achieved at state convention, many of us went to state leadership camp, WLC, and our section fair. On August 11th and 12th, Campbell's Soup and the National FFA sponsered the 'Help Grow Your Soup' Ad campaign at the Riordan family barn in Reddick, IL. 4 schools and over 30 members from section 10 helped to restorate the 100 year old barn. National officers Tyler Tenbarge and Kori Boettcher appeared and assisted at the event. Several members were filmed on RFD-TV and made ad campaigns that will hopefully be broadcast on TV and in magazines, and maybe even be featured at National Convention. Section 10 LTS is September 17th, and Austin Ashby, state vice president, will be there. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their summer even though there's not much left, and I look forward to a very successful year in section ten!
